JM Outdoor Living was selected to design the outdoor environment for the AISD Showcase Home at Vista Fontana, bringing together landscape, water, hardscape, outdoor living, and poolside spaces as one coordinated design.
At the front of the home, a custom urn fountain and layered planting create a strong arrival experience while complementing the architecture. Rather than treating the landscape as decoration, planting, masonry, circulation, and lighting were planned together to establish structure and visual continuity throughout the property.
In the backyard, the outdoor kitchen, fireplace, travertine pool deck, infinity-edge pool, and surrounding landscape create a series of connected spaces for cooking, entertaining, relaxing, and enjoying the lakefront setting.
The result is an outdoor environment that feels integrated with the home — polished enough for a showcase property while still designed for everyday family use.
The design approach focused on creating continuity from the front entry through the backyard rather than treating each area as a separate improvement.
Materials, planting, masonry, water, lighting, and gathering spaces repeat throughout the property, helping the landscape feel established and cohesive. The entry fountain provides a memorable focal point at arrival, while the pool, kitchen, fireplace, and lake views anchor the private outdoor living areas behind the home.

This Vista Fontana Showcase Home evolved from a comprehensive landscape and outdoor living plan that coordinated the entry fountain, planting, masonry, outdoor kitchen, fireplace, pool deck, lighting, and poolside spaces before installation began.
