The homeowners wanted the front yard to feel more welcoming and intentional while complementing the architecture of the home.

JM Outdoor Living developed a complete landscape plan centered around a circular paver walkway and illuminated urn focal point. Layered planting, natural stone edging, seasonal color and specimen plants were used to soften the architecture and create depth throughout the entry landscape.

Rather than treating the walkway, planting and lighting as separate improvements, each element was planned as part of one coordinated arrival experience.

By day, the planting brings texture, color and structure to the front yard. At night, path lighting and uplighting emphasize the home, guide visitors and highlight the urn centerpiece.

The transformation began with removal and grading to establish the proper foundation for the new landscape. The circular walkway establishes movement through the space, while the urn creates a strong visual anchor. Planting beds were layered around those elements to provide year-round structure with seasonal variation, and natural stone edging gives the beds a clean, established appearance.

The finished landscape feels connected to the architecture rather than simply installed around it — creating a front entry that is welcoming, functional and visually balanced.
